Interested in working for Your Gal Friday?

    Being a virtual assistant for Your Gal Friday is part-time, virtual, and ad hoc.  It is project-based.  You will be a 1099 worker.​  This means that work comes and goes.  Some days are busy.  Some days aren't.  Some days there isn't anything to do. (Although, to be honest, I haven't had one of those days in a couple of years!)

    There is no guarantee for a specific amount of hours.  This is the nature of this work.  Please browse the website to learn more about the chaos that is the life of a virtual assistant. ;)

    An ideal candidate:
    • is tech savvy
    • knows how to use Word and Excel and Google Docs and Sheets
    • has impeccable grammar and spelling chops
    • has a quiet workspace and dedicated computer
    • is comfortable being at home and working from home
    • can be nosey when it comes to research and finding out things
    • is okay doing sometimes mundane and/or mind-numbing tasks
    Plus lots of other amazing qualities that you don't realize you have but are a great asset to helping out!

    Wondering about experience?  Anyone can be trained to type in a spreadsheet, do transcription, click buttons and make social media posts.  That's the easy part.   I hire people who can think and are perceptive and extremely honest and open and creative and funny and above all like and want to help others.
